Compatible with our Forged 80% Lowers and our Premium Fire/Safe Marked Billet 80% Lowers! Other manufacturers' billet 80% lowers may be compatible with the Elite Builder 80% lower jig, provided their lower receiver design adheres to mil-spec specifications. However, we cannot guarantee that other manufacturers' lowers, including 9mm calibers, will absolutely fit into the jig without modification unless they meet mil-spec parameters.
The Elite Builder 80% Lower Jig and tool kit combo is the key to cutting and drilling multiple 80% lower receivers for the AR-15 or AR-9 without losing efficiency or accuracy. Made from hardened steel plates, the Elite Builder jig can machine any standard (mil-spec) forged, billet, or polymer receiver without breaking a sweat, with results as accurate as one-thousandth (0.001”) of an inch.
You can also now choose to include the enhanced drill plate to further make it easier for you to drill and hollow out your fire control group pocket.

Quality HSS Bits
The jig’s only as good as the bits you use it with. Choose to add on the optional tooling - quality industrial-grade HSS (high-speed steel) drill bits and end mill bits to cut through all that aluminum in no time. All you need to complete your receiver blank is a basic drill press and about two hours’ time. The tool kit includes:

This is the toolkit to get it done: The Liberty AR-15 Jig is designed to eliminate the need for expensive equipment like a router or mill. It uses simple, tough-as-Hell machining templates that allow you to fabricate the AR-15's forged or billet 80% lowers with nothing more than a drill press and vise. Of course, it does work just fine with any mill if you've got the equipment.

How the Liberty 80% Jig Works
The Liberty 80 Lower Jig takes a largely vertical approach to cutting your AR-15's receiver for the lower parts kit. Using the provided drill bits, you’ll first remove a large portion of aluminum from inside the main fire control cavity by drilling various pilot holes. Quick and easy. The jig tells you how far down to drill. All you need to do is control the press.
You’ll then use the end mill bits for light cutting and cleaning up the receiver’s walls before cutting a hole for the trigger. Lastly, reinforced drill bushings on the right side plate ensure your hammer, trigger, and safety pin holes are drilled perfectly through the receiver. No measurements required for these. Then you're done! The whole process takes about 1 to 2 hours for first-timers.
