THE KIT:
Barrel
The barrel available in this AR-15 80% lower build kit is a 16" length 4150 Chrome Moly Steel heavy barrel, with a 1:10 twist rate and carbine length gas system. The Mil-Spec Parkerized coating provides excellent corrosion resistance and an attractive satin-black finish.
Muzzle Device
A2 Style Flash Hider or Compact Muzzle Brake? While mostly a matter of looks or preference, some states have outlawed A2 Style Flash Hiders or consider them to be "evil features", contributing toward what may or may not be considered an "assault rifle" under the definition of state law. Be sure to read and understand your local laws. Aside from the legality, there are benefits in looks and performance when choosing a Compact Muzzle Brake. Muzzle brakes, besides looking cool, divert the gases exiting the barrel in such a way that reduces recoil and muzzle rise, and can improve follow-up shot accuracy.
Handguard
When it comes to choosing a handguard for your new rifle, there is a delicate balance of form and function. For starters, our M4 Style Handguard with exposed gas block is lightweight, budget-friendly, and perfect for those adding a receiver-top optic or who plan to later upgrade to a free-float handguard design. Our bold looking free-float 12" M-LOK handguards are lightweight, durable, and can accept a number of M-LOK rail accessories. The 15" M-LOK handguard offers full-length coverage and can allow for the most flexibility when it comes to rail accessories, flip-up sights, and stable stationary shooting. Our free-float handguard options in 12" and 15" have split Picatinny rail sections combined with M-LOK rail slots on the top of the hanguard. In addition to looking great, this design saves weight versus a full Picatinny rail!

The Warrhogg .308 lower features plenty of reinforcements based on real testing to guarantee reliability. Polymer80 beefed up the buffer tube ring, reinforced the receiver with a solid core, added ribbing across the entire top surface, and developed a no-thread pistol grip mount. Lastly, the mag well has been stiffened, all while retaining a featherweight profile.
